What About Europe as a Whole?
The European Union has approximately 229 million female residents. However, it would be inaccurate to apply the Dutch rate directly across Europe: the average height of women in the Netherlands is among the highest in the world, while national averages vary considerably from one country to another.
Taking these differences into account, a reasonable order of magnitude would be:
- between 30 and 100 women measuring at least two metres within the European Union;
- between 50 and 150 women across geographical Europe as a whole.
Once again, these figures are estimates rather than official statistics. Nevertheless, the central conclusion remains unchanged: across an entire continent, we are probably speaking of only a few dozen individuals—not thousands.
A Search That Quickly Extends Beyond Height Alone
Height is naturally only the first criterion. Age, personal circumstances, languages spoken, openness to an international relationship, willingness to relocate and, above all, mutual attraction and personal compatibility must also be considered.
A search that is already exceptionally narrow from a statistical perspective therefore becomes a truly international assignment. Conventional dating applications, restricted by their audiences, filters and geographical structures, are rarely designed to identify such a specific profile.
This is precisely where a relationship-focused Executive Search approach becomes invaluable. It allows the search to extend beyond a single country, mobilise different networks and partners, and discreetly approach individuals who may not use dating platforms at all.
At Citromantic, we never reduce an individual to a list of criteria. Our role is to transform an exceptional search into a human, confidential and international process—while remembering that genuine compatibility begins where statistics end.
